If you are looking for cheap caravan holidays in Devon then there are plenty of caravan parks to choose from. These are mainly located in south Devon around the Torbay area but Park Resorts have a site in north Devon near the town of Bideford.

1) PARK HOLIDAYS: Dawlish Sands, Dawlish Warren
Dawlish Sands is approximately half way between Torquay and Exeter on the South Devon coast. The site itself is actually walking distance from the nearest Blue Flag beach. Dawlish Sands has a good range of facilities and boasts an outdoor and heated indoor swimming pool in addition to the usual entertainment and on-site shop facilities. There is a central complex which houses the pools, reception/shop and play park, while the entertainment and take-away facilities are located on the edge of the park (which could mean a good walk for some). The site is fairly large with nearly 200 caravan pitches.
2) PARK HOLIDAYS: Golden Sands, Dawlish
Park Holidays have 2 parks in the Dawlish area: Dawlish Sands & Golden Sands. The Golden Sands park is further from the beach (approx. 1 mile) but is a nicely laid out park that combines a number of apartment blocks and 160 caravan pitches. The caravans are well positioned with good spacing between pitches. There are also lots of mature trees on the site which makes for a countryside feel. The site has a heated outdoor and indoor swimming pool and these are both positioned together with the main entertainment complex at the entrance to the park.
3) PARK HOLIDAYS: Landscove, Brixham
Landscove holiday park is positioned very close to the sea near the south Devon town of Brixham. It’s a fairly small site with a mixture of 117 caravan pitches along with chalets and wooden cabins. The park has a nicely positioned leisure and entertainment complex situated in the corner of the park; this boasts a heated outdoor pool along with an indoor pool. Although the park is next to sea, its actually a clifftop so the nearest beach is 1.5 miles away.
4) PARK HOLIDAYS: Waterside, Paignton
Located near to Paignton, Waterside is positioned very close to the sea and between two great beaches (Goodrington & Broadsands). The park itself is quite large with nearly 250 caravan pitches, these are well laid out and the park has a spacious feel thanks to the terraced layout. Facilities at the park include a centrally located entertainment complex along with a heated outdoor pool. There is no indoor swimming pool at this park. One of the unique features of Waterside is the Paignton to Dartmouth steam railway that runs adjacent to the park.
5) PARK RESORTS: Bideford Bay
Park Resorts Bideford Bay park is situated in a picturesque woodside location between Clovelly and Bideford. The clifftops are within walking distance but you will need to hop in the car and drive the 15 minutes to either Bideford or Clovelly if you want to hit the beach. The park is relatively small (in terms of number of caravans) in size but still boasts a heated outdoor pool with water flume along with a small indoor pool.
6) HOBURNE: Torbay
Located near Park Holidays Waterside Park, Hoburne’s Torbay site is a fairly large park situated inland from the coast but still within close proximity of Goodrington beach. The park has a large outdoor heated swimming pool, a good sized indoor pool with water slide and a large entertainment complex.
7) HAVEN: Devon Cliffs, Exmouth
Devon Cliffs is a large caravan park situated adjacent to a sandy beach and is located west of Exmouth. There are great leisure facilities on this site including an indoor and outdoor pool and a “mini water park” featuring waterslides and a flume. The beach views can be enjoyed from the ideally-situated South Beach Cafe. Access to the beach itself is via a sloping hill. As this is a large site it also features additional leisure and relaxation facilities including luxury spa and treatment rooms.
